PSYCHIC DAMAGE is the brain child of Chris Brind, a musician transitioning from a 30-year software engineering career to full-time music. Combining his passions for music and fantasy role-playing, Chris creates high-quality hard rock and metal inspired by the world's greatest role-playing game.

After over 30 years of writing and performing music as a hobby, Chris elevated his craft during lockdown with lessons from Richard Shaw (ex-Cradle of Filth) and production courses with renowned producer Aubrey Whitfield. His debut EP Tome of Debilitation showcases this artistic growth, with each track taking a spell and giving it a unique musical treatment.

I'm really excited for people to hear my music. I spent a significant amount of time planning each release, writing tracks in my home studio, then producing and mixing them before having them professionally mastered.

Each track takes a spell from the world's greatest role-playing game and gives it a unique musical treatment. Tracks like "Vicious Mockery" highlight the very essence of the spell, while tracks like "Speak with Dead" use a broader vision to tell compelling stories that fellow gamers can relate to.

I'm continuing to produce more Psychic Damage tunes to build out this compendium of spells, with Tome of Summoning being the latest addition.
